Working together to fight our world’s climate crisis
United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres said it best: “Climate change is the defining issue of our time and we are at a defining moment.” We recognize the importance of the present time and are committed to running our operations sustainably.
We’re establishing a clear path toward meaningful reductions in our emissions and are committed to establishing our net zero target by 2025.
By using renewable resources, reducing waste, making smarter business travel decisions and minimizing our carbon footprint at events, we’re working to get it right for the planet.
ZS’s path to net zero
We submitted our net-zero target to the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) and are awaiting approval. Meanwhile, SBTi approved our near-term greenhouse gas (GHG) emission reduction target to achieve the following by 2030:
A 48.8% absolute reduction of our scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions (compared to our 2019 base year)
A 55% reduction of our scope 3 GHG emissions per full-time equivalent (compared to our 2019 base year)
