Evanston, Ill. – October 7, 2020 – ZS principal Judith Kulich was recently honored by Consulting magazine among its Top 25 Consultants for 2020. Published annually, this prestigious list recognizes consultants making the greatest impact on the industry.

Judith joined ZS in 2000 and, over the past two decades, her impact and leadership have permeated the firm and community. During her time leading ZS’s San Francisco office, she helped grow ZS’s presence in the area by 40%—spurring the need for a second location to support the scale. Today, she leads ZS’s pipeline and launch strategy practice with the same growth mindset, working alongside a strong team to support clients in their efforts to develop and bring to market drugs that make a difference in patients’ lives.
In recent months, Judith has committed immense energy toward helping her clients and the pharmaceutical industry as a whole navigate the COVID-19 pandemic—working firsthand with organizations to ensure they continue to bring exciting novel therapeutics to market and the patients who need them most. She’s also leading a team tracking COVID-19 vaccine and therapeutic development and advising clients to anticipate and adapt for what lies ahead.
Judith has also left an indelible mark on ZS’s people and culture. As a co-founder and global steering committee member of ZS Cares, ZS’s firmwide corporate social responsibility initiative, Judith extends her impact beyond the firm by engaging non-profit organizations and making a difference in her local community. She also works to inspire future female leaders and helped launch the Women Leadership Initiative more than 10 years ago—a firmwide inclusion & diversity group dedicated to helping women build successful careers by enabling professional growth, fostering an inclusive working environment and supporting individual choices.
“While we’ve always prided ourselves on our unique culture and amazing people at ZS, we’ve increased our commitment toward inclusion and diversity. When I started in consulting 20 years ago, there were fewer women in leadership roles across the industry,” Judith said. “Today, I’m proud to see more diversity in our leaders—and I'm humbled to be among them. This recognition is proof that the face of leadership, and the path to get there, is changing.”
