Steve enjoys “greenfield” areas, creating and developing solutions, and working with people in entrepreneurial endeavors to grow in new directions.

Steve is the leader of the ZS meetings and events practice area, focusing on solutions that help clients achieve better meeting program outcomes. Utilizing ZS's technology and operations infrastructure and with a consultative and collaborative approach, the meetings and events practice supports our clients by enabling data-driven business decisions.

He also continues to support our partner software work in the ICM and SPM space, growing a team to manage our Varicent, Xactly, and Anaplan business.

Steve works with companies across different industries, including financial services, software, publishing, medical products, and life sciences. His work approach combines his experience across all three of ZS's capability groups: strategic consulting, business operations, and business technology. His educational background is similarly diverse, including mechanical engineering and psychology, which help him solve problems from both analytical and emotional perspectives.


Before leading meetings and events, Steve was a leader in the ZS sales compensation practice. He attends and presents at various industry conferences, including Cvent, Xactly, Anaplan, and WorldatWork, to name a few. 

Before ZS, Steve worked as a mechanical engineering analyst and project manager for manufacturing companies.

Steve has an MBA from the Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario. He also has a background  in mechanical engineering with a degree in psychology and a minor in fine arts.
