Climate change has a profound effect on health outcomes—and requires our immediate attention. At ZS, we recognize our own impact on the environment and are committed to taking clear, intentional steps to mitigate that impact. We’ve integrated environmental principles at the operational level to drive improvement across our value chain, so we can foster a healthier world for our people, clients, suppliers, communities and other partners.
To this end, we have set ambitious goals: Achieve net zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2045, with interim targets of reducing Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 48.8% and Scope 3 emissions by 55% per full-time equivalent by 2030 (compared to our 2019 baseline). These targets have been approved by the Science-Based Target initiative, underscoring our commitment to credible and measurable progress.
