Evanston, Ill.—January 12, 2022—The creative and design practice at ZS, a global professional services firm, won two gold Excellence in Technology awards from Brandon Hall Group for the Zimmer Biomet Virtual Discovery Game immersive learning tool developed in collaboration with Zimmer Biomet. The awards include “Best Advance in Unique Learning Technology” and “Best Advance in Sales Training Online Application.”
Brandon Hall Group selected winners based on their ability to demonstrate breakthrough innovation, unique product differentiation, value and measurable results.
Designed in response to the challenges of learning and training in a remote environment, the game delivers a virtual escape room-style experience. Sales teams collaborate and explore a hospital for product and selling clues on key growth products. Along the way, they engage with interactive content and compete against colleagues in skill-based exercises to master Zimmer Biomet’s product details and sales strategy.
“While the virtual discovery game was inspired by pandemic working conditions, we believe it advances what’s possible with learning and training models, regardless of what’s going on,” Elliot Langerman, executive creative director at ZS. “It’s customizable and scalable, and it drives next-level engagement.”
