Michael currently leads ZS’s global rare disease practice, helping to extend ZS’s unparalleled domain expertise to organizations large and small focused on the development of rare disease therapeutics.

As the leader of ZS’s global rare disease practice, Michael has supported numerous pharma and biotech companies in their journey to develop and commercialize rare disease therapies and bring hope to underserved patient populations.
During his 15-plus years at ZS, Michael has worked across nearly all of ZS core disciplines, including sales, marketing, technology and operations. With a greater emphasis on commercial organization design, sales force strategies and commercial operations excellence, he has worked to enable the growth of small and mid-size pharmaceutical companies.
Prior experience
Michael has been in management consulting his entire career, starting with four years at Deloitte where he focused almost exclusively in the healthcare and pharmaceuticals sector. During that time, Michael focused on organizational development and transformation for small to mid-size pharmaceutical companies.
Education
Michael holds an MBA from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, and a B.S. in marketing and logistics from the University of Maryland in College Park.
