Sunil played a critical role in building ZS’s medical affairs practice from the ground up. He also plays a key role in thought leadership and driving innovation.

Sunil co-leads the global medical affairs practice at ZS.

Sunil has a total work experience of 14 years, with 10 years of experience focused on pharma and biotech business consulting. He has spent the last six years at ZS focusing exclusively on global medical affairs. The medical affairs practice has worked with 100-plus medical affairs clients including pharma, biotech and medtech companies. Sunil has worked across multiple therapy areas and disease states, and has worked in North America, Europe and Asia-Pacific, helping clients devise a wide variety of solutions within business strategy, organizational design, MSL program branding and MSL performance assessment. 

Sunil also has expertise in a wide variety of commercial sales and marketing issue areas, including estimating demand, segmentations, market opportunity assessment and willingness to pay/pricing. He has worked with pre-launch and in-market products in the U.S. across multiple disease areas. Prior to working at ZS, Sunil spent four years in the telecom consulting domain.

Sunil holds an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Bengaluru (IIM-B), with a focus on business strategy.
