For the fourth consecutive year, ZS has been named among the Best Companies for Women in India according to industrywide benchmarking by Avtar and Seramount. Now named an ”Exemplar of Inclusion,” ZS has also been placed in the Best Companies Hall of Fame for having been featured in the top 100 for five editions of the study’s run.

We work to embed DEI initiatives throughout our organizational operations. Leaders from across ZS develop meaningful DEI strategies through our global DEI council, while ZS’s DEI Center of Expertise (DEI CoE) focuses on creating systemic and sustained impact that strengthens opportunities for current and future ZSers from within our HR team. ZS also supports specialized programs, like our Women in Tech Leadership Committee, which connects women through trainings, panel discussions and other firmwide events.
Education and leadership ventures, including our Path to Principal (P2P) program, empower women managers to successfully take on ZS leadership roles. Connection circles enable strong relationship building among ZSers with shared identities and experiences. ZS has also partnered with LeanIn.org, a nonprofit organization that supports women in achieving their career ambitions, to launch lean-in circles with research-backed programs aimed at creating an inclusive workplace.
Being at ZS means being heard and respected as part of a team dedicated to improving outcomes and experiences for all. We work hard to make sure our rewards and benefits structure supports this. These include benefits that consider the impact of preparing to have a child, returning from parental leave and reducing challenges related to family planning and work balance.
We take compensation very seriously and regularly audit our practices to ensure they are merit-based, competitive and fair. In our most recent external audit, we found no differences in pay based on gender across levels and regions at ZS. We also partner with various external auditing organizations to confirm our benefits and operational norms offer gender parity and expansive support for families, parents and various life stages experienced by women in the workforce.
