Hisaaki Suzuka, strategy insights and planning associate consultant in Osaka, exemplifies this ethos, bringing dedication, passion and a collaborative spirit to his work every day.
As one of the first team members to join ZS’s Osaka office, Hisaaki consistently demonstrates the values that define ZS, inspiring colleagues and contributing to our collective success. “When I first joined ZS, we were all working remotely due to the pandemic,” Hisaaki says. “Still, the small team worked hard to stay connected—one colleague even brought a cake to my apartment. I knew then that ZS’s culture was special, and I wanted to help preserve it as the firm grew.”
With nearly four times the amount of ZSers as when he started, Hisaaki has seen ZS’s Osaka office expand rapidly, deepening our impact and expertise. “It’s been incredible watching the team gradually grow,” Hisaaki recalls. “It’s made me realize the advantages of working closely with such a diverse team. Together, we've had the most enthusiastic return to the office.”
In 2022, the Osaka office reached a significant milestone by moving from a shared office space to its current location in Osaka Umeda Twin Towers South. This transition not only symbolizes our growth but also our commitment to providing an environment where ZSers can thrive. The new office space has enhanced our ability to collaborate, innovate and deliver exceptional value to our clients, further solidifying Osaka’s role as a key hub in our global network.
Hisaaki proudly says our Osaka office’s expansion and vibrant culture can be credited to the thoughtful design of our workspace. “Half of the office is allocated as a common area for social activities, reflecting our philosophy that values communication and connection. This space has become a hub for informal interactions and team-building events, enhancing our sense of community. And our focused working zones allow for concentration and productivity, while also keeping us aware of each other’s projects.” This balance has cultivated a strong camaraderie among ZSers worldwide, driving our collective success and fostering an environment where everyone feels connected and supported.
